Exotic Interiors Studio had the pleasure of creating the interiors for The Hood by Mamahood, a thoughtfully designed co-working space in Jumeirah tailored specifically for working women who balance their professional lives with motherhood. The space had to reflect this unique duality, offering both a professional environment for productivity and a welcoming, nurturing area for children. To achieve this, we infused the design with a soft, calming palette, incorporating neutral tones with subtle accents to evoke a sense of balance and tranquility.
The workspaces were designed with flexibility in mind, providing ample natural light, ergonomic furniture, and a layout that encourages collaboration while maintaining privacy for focused tasks. For the daycare area, we carefully selected materials and finishes that are both child-friendly and aesthetically pleasing. Warm, playful colors were combined with soft, tactile surfaces to create a comforting environment for children, while still aligning with the overall elegant and modern aesthetic of the workspace. The integration of functional zones within a cohesive design made The Hood by Mamahood not just a workplace, but a harmonious environment for both productivity and care.
